Stalwart Edge was created in 2024 by James Rush as a way to share his music, but not always a musician, singer or a songwriter/composer. He has been inspired by his close friends and family.
He is continuing to pursue his passion for music, instead of listening and occasionally playing, he is now creating his own. Writing, discovering sounds and recording. As a youngster, he and his siblings would hold down the sustain peddles while dad tickled the ivories. Music, in some form or another has always been present in his life. In his teenage years he was on the bass. Later in life he picked up the acoustic guitar, thanks to a special group of people. With an appreciation for all music, James is especially inspired by rock and roll. Over the course of some years, he has composed several songs. “Selling Hell” was one of his first, the lyrics were co-written by Scott Pletzer. Proudly it is his first release on his debut album “Selling Hell”. The second release on the album is "Drew the Light". The inspiration for those lyrics has vast emotional avenues. His latest and third release "A Long Look Back" has a nostalgic undertone. Scott helped out again lyrically.
